Construction Project Coordinator (Multifamily)
Must have excellent management, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a strong focus on meeting construction schedules & budgets.
Responsibilities of the Construction Project Coordinator:
- Assist the Construction Project Manager in:
- All phases of the construction process and the project schedule throughout the course of the project to ensure the project is completed in compliance with the contract terms based upon established systems, policies, and procedures.
- Working with and communicate directly with project superintendents and our trade partners.
- Managing plans, documents, submittals & RFIs in Plangrid/Procore
- Managing the cost of planning, design, and construction process to remain within the owner's budget, including cost estimating, cost reporting, cost breakouts, pay requests.
- Managing the bidding, preparing contract documents including scopes, defining and monitoring compliance with documentation requirements, defining and monitoring compliance with the submittal process, and project close-out.
- Writing, issuing and reviewing RFIs & Submittals.
- Implementing and monitoring procedures to protect the health and safety of job site employees, visitors, and the general public including the job-site safety plan, safety inspections, subcontractor insurance compliance, OSHA compliance, and maintaining current OSHA training.

Education & Experience Requirements of the Construction Project Coordinator:
- High School Diploma required
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction related studies preferred
- Minimum 2 years experience in Multifamily Construction Project Coordinating/Engineering
- Ability to communicate and work with on-site staff, subcontractors, inspectors, architects, and owners to ensure completion of tasks
- Thorough knowledge of construction techniques and the ability to derive the most efficient method of completing tasks

The noise level in the work environment may range from moderate to loud. The employee is also required to use computers, phones and other technology on a daily basis.
Pay & Benefits for the Construction Project Coordinator:
- Salary: $50,000-$70,000 depending on experience
